On Sunday 10/28, Sim went to the studio and moved all our client's furniture pieces as far away as possible from our massive waterfront windows. He covered every piece of furniture in blankets and plastic to prevent any possible water damage. read more »

One of the most iconic styles popular worldwide is Scandinavian and Danish design. The sleek lines, functionality and high quality are what set this style apart from others. The period reining from the 1930s –1960s, furniture designers of Danish and Finnish decent were creating immaculate furniture pieces and boy, do we love reupholstering them!

Arne Jacobsen, inspired by the work of Eames prototyped the Ant chair, the Egg chair and the Swan chair which used a newer concept of plywood and a fiberglass shell along fabric. An employee of Arne Jacobsen’s firm, Hans Wegner became quite notable from his unique Peacock chair which actually based off the traditional Windsor chair but blossomed into a different direction.
